Security and data handling
This page explains how we protect the data you connect to our software, in plain terms. It also explains what happens with an AI provider, because you should know that too.
What the AI can and can't do
- The AI only reads data, using a fixed set of predefined tools.
- It doesn't write database queries or run commands.
- It can't change anything in your POS or CRM.
How your data is kept apart
- Each business is isolated at the database level, so one account can't see another's data.
- Credentials for your connected systems are stored in a vault, not in the code.
- The assistant's actions are recorded in an audit log.
Reports
- Reports are generated when requested and aren't stored afterward.
- They're delivered through signed links that expire soon after they're created.
- If the owner schedules a report, it goes as an email attachment to the recipients the owner has chosen.
AI providers
- Questions, and the data needed to answer them, pass through an AI provider. Our Data Processing Addendum explains how that works, including retention by the provider.
Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. This website doesn't receive, process or store card or bank details.
- We never see or store your full card number.
- This site is served over HTTPS.
