Analytics and reporting for dry cleaners
We turn your point-of-sale data into clear reports: how each store is trending, which customers matter most, and how marketing compares with actual sales.
You have the data. Getting answers is the hard part.
A point-of-sale system records almost everything that happens at a dry cleaner, and it's usually built to run the counter, not to answer an owner's questions. Is one store slipping while the others grow? Are new customers coming back after the first visit? Which customers used to come every week and have quietly stopped? Getting those answers often means exporting spreadsheets and hoping the formulas hold.
Marketing reports have the opposite problem. They're full of clicks and impressions and say nothing about whether the register rang. Until the two sets of numbers meet, nobody knows what the marketing budget really did.
What's included
Sales and trends by store

Marketing compared with sales
Marketing results set against sales, available when your point-of-sale system is connected.

How we measure
Every figure in a report states what it counts, the period it covers and where it came from, so you can check it against your own system. If a number can't be traced, it doesn't go in the report. When a report and your own system disagree, we work out why.
POS-connected reporting is available today for SMRT. If you use another system, tell us when you ask for a quote and we'll explain what can and can't be done with it.
What we don't do
- We don't change anything in your POS. The reporting only reads your data.
- We don't replace your accountant. These are management reports, not financial statements or tax filings.
- We don't forecast results we can't support with your numbers.
- We don't share one business's data with another.
